The Process
First Step
-The Beginning
Once you've reached out to us via our social media pages or through our contact form, we will respond within 24 hours and will typically ask for some basic information about your wedding. You will usually get directed to our calendar where you should schedule a consultation with us so we can better understand what you envision for your wedding and see if we're the right fit together.
The consultations typically last a minimum of 30 mins and on our call we can go over any questions you guys might have and we'll be able to customize the right package for your wedding!
Second Step
-The Big Day
The day has come and we've been with you every step of the way! We have our wedding schedule and we're ready to capture all the details you guys are sure to miss on your wedding day. From every smile to each tear falling, we are there to make sure you can remember your big day in the most masterful and meaningful way.
Throughout the day we will be there for you emotionally, spiritually and you won't go anywhere without us. We are there to serve you in anyway we can, whether that's getting a drink for you or making sure that all the other professionals working at your wedding have open communication with each other, we are fully invested in your day and to capturing those memories for you guys to look back on for generations to come.
Third Step
-Your Story
It's difficult for most couples to wait for the results of their wedding. To look back on everything they didn't have time to absorb or just didn't catch while they were having the time of their lives. At Masterwork Productions, we put in just as much passion and effort into our post production as you see on the wedding day.
Because our standards are so high and we demand excellence in everything. we do, the quality of our work speaks for itself. We've had a couple tell us once, "You can't rush art, take as long as you need. We already know you're going to make a masterpiece". And they weren't wrong! It typically takes 3-6 months for us to get your films back to you fully edited and completed.
The owner refuses to outsource his work until he finds someone good enough to meet the standards of Masterwork, unlike a lot of our competitors. The good news is, typically within the first 24 hours to a week of your wedding you'll receive a 30-60 second teaser to hold you guys over while you wait for everything else.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

With Masterwork Productions you are investing in top quality and experienced filmmakers to capture your once in a lifetime wedding day. Our pricing reflects our dedication to our craft, expertise as wedding specialists, passion for storytelling and the faithful professionalism we bring to our couples' weddings.
Our packages and pricing are customized individually in accordance to YOUR budget and what's discussed on our consultation call. We offer a large range of services from full ceremony edits, feature films, guest shout out videos and so much more in addition to base highlight film which is included in every package. Prices also vary depending on a choice of exclusive packaging with John or the Masterwork teams.

FAQ
How Long are your films?
Our core package item is our highlight film which can range from 2-6 minutes, the equivalent length of a short film. The other edits we offer in our packages vary from scene to scene, i.e. the ceremony 15-30 minutes, the speeches 5-15 minutes, shout out film 10-15 minutes and so on.
Do we have to get on a call?
Building a connection with our couples is something we take pride in. It helps us understand your story more and we treat it like a director would hold a casting call. The cohesion between an artist and his subjects is imperative when creating a timeless masterpiece. That's why we opt in to hold our consultations over Zoom, FaceTime or in person unless it's absolutely necessary for a call to be held over the phone.
How is the music chosen?
This is a bit of a difficult situation. As we love to give couples the exact music of their choice or played at the wedding in our deliverables, big artists like The killers, Jay-Z or Luke Combs we have no legal rights to use their music. Instead, what we try to do is pick a favorite song of yours for the social media teasers and or select one on our own based off the answers our couples give us when we ask about their favorite artists in our questionnaire. The final highlight will have music in accordance with our couples answers on the questionnaire and Masterwork Productions' cinematic/epic style for the final wedding film.
How far do you travel?
This depends on a lot of different factors. The first being what your budget is for your wedding. We travel all over New England within reason normally and have teams spread out all over the country as well. Another factor depends on our teams' availability. Our availability and your budget will ultimately determine if we can travel far distances.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a 10% Discount to any Veterans or active duty military considering John's family comes from a military background. We also offer holiday discounts annually and typically give Connecticut residents a local home state discount as well.
When will our films be ready?
Turn around time for our teasers and trailers are between 24 hours - 7 days. Your full film and other edits typically take between 3-6 months depending on volume and other circumstances. Our agreement gives us a maximum of 8 months in case of an act of God or other emergency as well.
