After I filmed my first wedding, I knew that this is what I'm meant to do.
I knew that this was my God given calling.
The value and worth both my couples and I have felt on their wedding days simply from capturing the essence of their love, is beyond something I can express in words.
To truly be of humbling service at someone’s wedding and to offer them something I know they will possess and cherish for years to come is something that I’m willing to work tirelessly for.
I have been so blessed by god, with so much praise, some awards and so many opportunities since starting this company;
I had the pleasure of joining a crew for a local short film, where we were nominated for various awards at the 48 hour film festival in New Haven, Connecticut.
Crew members from UFC's production teams here in New England have looked at wedding films and reached out with the utmost praise for the skills we developed in such a short amount of time.
And over the past few years I've been mentored by filmmakers who have filmed weddings for celebrities like Luke Combs and Jason Earles.
MEET JOHN TOMASSETTI
Throughout my life I've overcome addiction and mental illness, being homeless, raised in poverty and coming from a broken home here in Connecticut.
For the longest time I had no purpose or goals in my life. There were so many times I didn't know where I would sleep next or where my next meal would come from.
But with the help of an old friend of mine, taking me off the streets and being blessed enough to rekindle a romance I've shared with my high school sweetheart, for the past decade my life has taken a dramatic turn.
THE
COME UP
I got back together with the love of my life, became a stepfather and we started to build a life together in Wallingford, Connecticut. In time, we had two sons of our own and became the first homeowners in our immediate families after buying a house in Meriden, Connecticut.
When our youngest sons were born, we also found our faith in Jesus Christ and by the grace of God, we created a life for our children that we never had growing up.
Through christ I sought out my calling and after facing so many tribulations and climbing countless mountains, I founded Masterwork Productions, my wedding videography and photography company.
My passion for cinema and affinity with storytelling is something that I’ve cherished and been blessed with my entire life.
From creating intricate scenes and compelling stories with action figures as a child myself and with my children today, Thoroughly studying history and mythology, writing various manuscripts and screenplays, to starting my own wedding production company;
I can confidently say that this is what I am meant to do.

I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with John's work as the filmmaker of our wedding! He truly went above and beyond to capture every single moment of our winter wedding.

From start to finish he made everything so seamless and was so fun to work with as well! His passion for storytelling and his art is evident, and I was brought to tears when I saw our wedding teaser for the first time (which was completed within 24 hours of our wedding too)!
